CONNECT COLORADO RECOGNIZED WITH AN AWARD
CEPP was recently advised that CONNECT Colorado was selected to receive an award from The Infrastructure Partnership, a non-profit partnership that facilitates dialogue on domestic infrastructure security and offers sources of technical support and comment on public policy related to the security of the nation's built environment.
Each year TISP awards people and organizations for their regional and infrastructure resilience achievements. This year CONNECT Colorado was nominated and selected to receive TISP’S Annual Award for Distinguished Leadership in Critical Infrastructure Resilience, 2011 Private Industry Award Recipient. On behalf of CEPP, its members and board of directors, Director John Mencer will accept the award at TISP’s annual conference in Washington, DC. on November 30th.
We believe this award is a great recognition for the potential that the CONNECT Colorado resource registry holds for emergency management in Colorado and beyond, and is a validation of the considerable efforts of the CEPP partnership that created CONNECT.
