Most of CEPP's accomplishments are the result of partnerships created to foster the inventive genius of America's citizens and industries. While the end result of any one accomplishment may be unclear, the result of all of them is crystal: it is progress.

2009-June, 16 - CEPP Meeting at CH2M Hill Headquarters, 9191 S. Jamacia Street, Englewood, CO - The meeting consisted of the topics of: General Business, Business Development, Emergency Planning/Response, Emergency Training/Exercise Coordination, and a Special Presentation concerning the H1N1 virus and the impacts that it has had on government, companies and the private sector. A panel (see photo) discussed what were the key impacts to their entity, and any unexpected challenges and recommendations for future pandemic situations. Panel participants left to right were: Suzanne Mencer, Co-Director of the Colorado Emergency Preparedness Partnership, Tom Horton, Chief Security Officer and Director, Firm Wide Security Operations CH2M Hill; Hans Kallum, Director of the Office of Emergency Management, State of Colorado; Jackie Zheleznyak, State Pandemic Preparedness Coordinator Emergency Preparedness & Response Division, Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment; Mustapha Bourjnah, Assistant Property Manager, Cushman & Wakefield of Colorado, Inc.; Tina Dierks, Program Manager IT, Sun Microsystems, Inc.; Tom Davis, TIAA CREFF,manager Corporate Safety.

2008-05-21 - Business Roundtable: Conversation on Modern Terrorism and Society with the Combating Terrorism Center at West Point - The CEPP hosted a Roundtable for our business partners in an engaging and thought provoking conversation regarding military and public sector efforts and how the private sector can play a role in securing our great nation and our State. Bill Braniff, Director of External Education at the Combating Terrorism Center, and Jarret Brachman, Director of Research in the Combating Terrorism Center at West Point, briefed Denver business leaders including Denver Police Chief Gerald Whitman.

2008-06- 19 Risk Communications Course - On June 19th, CEPP hosted a Crisis and Emergency Communications Risk Communications Course that provided critical tools and techniques to help area PIOs effectively manage the challenges of communicating with partners, stakeholders and the media during a crisis.
